Why puredigitalsoul Exists

A username often stays with you longer than you think. Mine is puredigitalsoul. At some point, I felt the desire to give this name its own space—not just another profile on a platform, but a website that feels like a personal journal. I’ve been involved with technology for many years. I’m just as interested in the systems behind it as I am in how they change everyday life. Sometimes it’s an idea from web development, sometimes a new application of artificial intelligence, and sometimes a piece of hardware that impresses with an astonishingly simple detail. I like digital tools. But I also love analog things—things you can touch, repair, or simply use in peace. In addition to code and devices, there are other interests that deserve a place here: music and sound, photography, e-bike rides, occasional observations from everyday life, and life with cats. These don’t always fit neatly into a specific category. That’s exactly why they should come together here. I’ll include content from other sources, but I’ll make sure it’s traceable. Mistakes can be corrected; there’s no need for artificial certainty. Why have my own website when social media already exists? Because here, it’s not a feed that decides what stays visible. Posts don’t have to disappear after just a few hours. I can explore topics at my own pace, let a collection grow, and revisit past thoughts later on. The name connects two aspects that, for me, belong together: the digital world as a tool and the personal perspective behind it. At the end of the day, a website is just technology. It gets its character from what you write, show, and share with others. This is just the beginning. No grand publishing schedule, no promise of daily updates. Just a space of my own on the web that will gradually be filled with real content.
